I use a R max w/premixed top torch and would not have the patience w/o the big torch. Also its not convenient to change the tip but can be done to achieve a tighter flame or even go bigger than a minicc. The mini is a very quality made torch.

I'll think I'll be getting a mini cc here pretty soon, It looks strong enough to work with borosilicate, do you have any problems with it?

I used my miniCC for three years before I outgrew it. It does do Boro, but it does not have a tight pinpoint flame, which means that if you're doing a lot of sculptural work where you might want to get the flame into a small spot to make a join stronger can get tricky. It will do small hollow work, but if you want to do anything larger than 12mm tubing or about 10-12mm rod, it takes a long time. For small pendants and little bottles, the minicc works fine.
