With a mac book, the default settings only allow start up when the power cable is plugged in and I was wondering If you use those apps (faronics power save/ dssw power manager) will it enable a macbook to turn on without being plugged into a power source (except for battery power)?

Ya the title was really bad. I uploaded this pretty late at night and I had it how to make your mac as green as possible then i meant to change it to how to make your mac greener. :p
