@Vaskis4life Well it can be played a number of ways, but traditionally it's a hornpipe tune and not a reel. It's one of my favorites to play on mandolin and I too play it like a reel, it just gives it a fun feel. The only advice that i could give you is that you should relax more when you play it, it seems like you are trying to rush through it without giving those essential pauses that Irish tunes are known for. Having said that though, I definitely couldn't play it on a tinny. good job.

Murder your own face

Slow down, it's a hornpipe not a reel.
-
You need a good squeeze around the waist to get more wind up :)
-
now that is good
-
Too fast, otherwise perfect...
-
Not too bad! You're on a good road here, but you need to slow it down until you can play it tightly and flawlessly at that speed. Now your timings are all over the place.
-
The song didn't sound right by the speed, but other than that, great! :)

I think she meant her Guinness whistle. Not the Clarke Original.

Virginia,
I thought I saw you playing a "Clarkes Original" in one of your videos !!
What do you think of it ????

I like that one a lot, but I find it takes a lot more air and has a softer sound than my other ones. It's very mellow and woody.
Thanks for the comments!
