Dreads!!! Five Month Update!!!

Just an update as to how my dreads are looking and what I've been doing to maintain them.....which I haven't really been doing anything. Probably once a month, my girlfriend will clean them up for me so they look presentable. But that's it. Also a little rambling about last month when I put super glue at the tips to keep them blunted. I don't recommend using super glue to anyone else, I just did it and it worked fine for me. There is no mold, mildew, dread rot, or buildup in my hair and I don't think there will ever be because I take pretty good care of my hair. If my hair does get gross with mold spores and crap like that, then I'll cut it off....who cares, it's just hair. I think that's about it. Sorry for the bad lighting, it really accentuates the loose hairs. My dreads actually look a lot better in better lighting conditions. Oh well. Enjoy.

@GrafCrylic Yep, his are really nice. He takes good care of his, spends a lot of time on them, and his are thicker and longer; which helps them lock up better. It makes sense that his would look better than mine.

Yea dude I like them! Mine are looking almost exactly like yours. Today i tried washing with baking soda and acv but I think I didn't get some of the baking soda out and I'm a little worried as to if they will start to mold or not. We'll see. But good luck to you sir!
