At the end of the 2010 International Shaolin Wuzuquan Federation Conference and Competition, visitors to Quanzhou were invited to visit the Southern Shaolin Temple.

At the temple, students from the Australian school, International Shaolin Wu Chu Chuan Australia, were invited to demonstrate their sanchin (aka san zhan) stance against the Shaolin monks. Master James Chee was also invited to demonstrate his qi gong abilities.

The Australian students are dressed casually, as they were not expecting to perform, so please excuse any shabby attire!

  • This is the Chinese equivalent of WWE wrestling.

  • @1madaboutguitar Except... we're not chinese, we're not acting and we like our underpants under our clothing. Thx!

  • Thanks for sending the link to this video, I had commented on another of these suggesting it was fake. This video does nothing to change my mind about these demonstrations. Audiences are entertained by mystics and magicians, there is nothing wrong about that, but when money changes hands it becomes unethical. Duping someone into believing they will be healed or can speak to dead relatives for a cash donation is fraud.

  • @jimrntx HI Jimrntx, and thanks for your comment. For the record, whilst we believe there are health benefits in the practice of qigong, we have never claimed that people will be "healed" or will be able to "speak to dead relatives".

With regards to this particular video, it was filmed live and is unedited other than the logo and titling. The students in the video were visiting the south shaolin temple at the end of the competition and were asked for a demonstration, so it was all spontaneous.

  • If telling a bunch of students to act like they fall is qi gong, then im a qi gong master too :)

  • @nheowie Neither I nor any of our other students has ever been asked to act like we're falling. I pay $10/lesson and train 3 times a week and would be the first one to complain if it was fake.

  • Am not questioning Mastr JC's abilities. Being able 2 use his mind 2 dominate others aint easy! Itz understandable he may prefer 2 apply it on d devil he knows than on d devil he doesnt.

  • @ISWCCA bro, wld appreciate it if u dun tar d seniors wif those of d commentors 2 whom 'hostile' is aptly applicable. Moving/Concentrating heat in a particular part of d body cannot b done without yigong either. Itz all in d mind, n nt surprisingly, d stronger / more focussed mind can dominate weaker minds. Hence why dat Sensei whose ability 2 neutralise all his attacking disciples on Utube in d same manner as Mastr James was himself neutralised in a public match wif an outside challenger.

  • @Wolfen1624 Hi Wolfen1624, Thanks for watching. Whilst some of Grandmaster Chee Kim Thong's disciples may dispute Master James' abilities, many of the other disciples do not. These others include Master Yap Cheng Hai (1st disciple) and Philip Tan (13th disciple and an instructor for Master James' school here in Australia).

It is odd that the senior disciples you know would accept that Grandmaster Chee could heat water with his bare hands yet be so hostile to Master James' own abilities.

  • itz all in d mind ie Yigong.. will not work on everyone. A lunatic or a mentally focussed person can break thru. Dis view is shared by two of Master James Chee's seniors who were indoor disciples of d late Grandmaster Chee Kim Thong and currently represent SEA n Europe dat I am privileged to knw. Also, a Hakka style n Qigong instructor n healer who has done similar demos tried d same on my fren but failed. Yet it worked on others dat were also present, even wen applied frm behind... !
