This is an annual event just northwest of Houston Texas. It's always the weekend before Thanksgiving. Google civil war weekend Liendo for more info. American Civil War reenactors create the fictional Battle of Liendo near Houston Texas.

  • im not from America but why do they dress like turks??

  • They are dressed like Algerians. Algerians had a reputation as fierce warriors in the 1850's and a few American units copied their uniforms. They were called zoaves .

  • This is so cool I would like to go see this sometime because I'm a Liendo too!!!

  • It will happen again nov 21 and 22 in 2009
