This is so soulful and meaningful to me personally. I have always loved James Taylor and this is a further compliment to the wonderful work he and Babyface have created in the music realm.

I like this version its even better live. Not every remake is going to be loved by everyone, and in some circumstances the remakes are better.
You might not like Babyface specifically or believe to have talent, but he's written the songs for many big names that went to #1, without him they might not have as much as they do now.
Just do a google search for "songs written by babyface".

I know the copyright laws in the United States allow anyone to record any song by anyone but some songs really should't be recorded unless the person doing it has some talent. This guy has none if you ask me. What is a heartbreaking song of loss and despair sounds here more like some summer camp sing along. What is it with the hand claps mixed so high up? Terrible version. (I saw this guy on Beverly Hills 90210 and he was OK as an actor; perhaps he should go back to doing that???)
