My first build :)
Here's the mod list:
D16z6 Block
75mm Vitara Pistons
AEM Fuel Rail
I beam rods
Acl Rod Bearing
Arp Headstuds
Stock z6 Head
Turbo xs BOV
FMIC
38mm Wastegate 5.5lb spring
Y8 Intake Manifold
450 cc DSM injectors
Chipped p05 on crome and also a vafc2 (novtec)
Holsetx25 Turbo 2/ 1/2 inch downpipe to 3 inch full exhaust
Never dynoed (yet)

  • dude how hard was it o put a d16y8 manifold on a z6?

  • @mirc225 not hard. it bolts right up. just need a y8 fuel rail and y8 iat sensor and ur good bro :)

  • @mirc225 nah. Just have an obd1 ecu that has vtec.

    ie; P28

  • looks like you need a resistor box for your injectors not really but better with it.

  • @minimeBuild it cost like 20 bucks for the vtec parts of the ecu lol i'm pretty sure u can find a shop to solder it for you if your uncomfortable but it's not really hard. Either way ur gonna have to chip and if you buy a chipped one that's over $100. I'd honestly go with with the vtec components. Try xenocron.com
