and love was so much sweeter second time around coz they dealt with more serious issues that were closer to the heart rather than infidelities, illegitimate children, and attempting to murder each other(her breast cancer and his drug addiction) He was with her right up until his death in 2007.

Monica should have slapped the @#%! out of Alan for that remark about "doubting" her love after her affair with Rick Webber.
After all these years, he's STILL blaming Rick Webber for all of his infidelities, including Lucy Coe??
Otherwise, a very touching scene.
