@mwgerb: It's a Sony Handycam. I got it at Best Buy for just under $500 a while back. It is one of the best investments I have made in a long time.

Only drawback is my PC and laptop don't have the software to edit .MTS files.

I started using it to send great video clips of my kids to my family & friends all over the country & overseas. YouTube can take a direct upload from it, but it takes a long time unless you have a great internet connection.
