This song always makes me sad because it was shortly after this that my favorite Hollie left the band. While I followed him with CSN and as a solo I always hated that he left when he did when they were making some really good music together.

@pilesovinyl Actually, this song was released on the LP of the same name in October '67... but not in the US. Nash didn't officially depart the group until quite a while later, in December '68. He wanted to leave a couple months earlier, but was obliged to finish a few pre-booked performances, recording sessions, and television appearances. He then hopped a jet bound for California, to join his two new bandmates, formerly of The Byrds and Buffalo Springfield.

I Love the Hollies but as writers of GREAT songs, they were way less prolific than The Beatles and many of their album tracks of this period were a bit pretentious ; this is like Chim-Chimeny from Mary Poppins and though ambitious, their producer Ron Richards who did a great job on their singles, tried to copy the Beatles production but he was no George Martin and he overdid their production in 1967, making it too gimmicky

Only unofficially...I have LOTS of Hollies stuff on DVD to trade (I've compiled 8 discs in more or less chronological order!).
