  • good song can you get it on dvd

  • Only unofficially...I have LOTS of Hollies stuff on DVD to trade (I've compiled 8 discs in more or less chronological order!).

  • I love this song! Thanks for posting-I'd never heard it before.

  • Glad you like it! It's the title track of a 1967 album of theirs.

  • This is such a beautiful song. One of Graham's best..

  • This song always makes me sad because it was shortly after this that my favorite Hollie left the band. While I followed him with CSN and as a solo I always hated that he left when he did when they were making some really good music together.

  • @skeaneable Actually it was the other way round: Graham had this beard in 1966!

  • seem like somebody was sporting George Harrison's beard during the recording session of Sgt.Pepper!

  • Beautiful song! I love Graham Nash! :)

  • One of my favorites from my era, it is sweet but I like sweet songs. Love the arrangement.

  • Dont get it, this is awful [ best thing Nash did was to leave if this was the road he was taking the hollies down ]

  • @pilesovinyl Actually, this song was released on the LP of the same name in October '67... but not in the US. Nash didn't officially depart the group until quite a while later, in December '68. He wanted to leave a couple months earlier, but was obliged to finish a few pre-booked performances, recording sessions, and television appearances. He then hopped a jet bound for California, to join his two new bandmates, formerly of The Byrds and Buffalo Springfield.

  • I always liked the Hollies,but never heard this passionate song,"beautiful<3" ;)

  • A gorgeous song... I just love Nash....

  • I Love the Hollies but as writers of GREAT songs, they were way less prolific than The Beatles and many of their album tracks of this period were a bit pretentious ; this is like Chim-Chimeny from Mary Poppins and though ambitious, their producer Ron Richards who did a great job on their singles, tried to copy the Beatles production but he was no George Martin and he overdid their production in 1967, making it too gimmicky
