This is the 1st time I have ever heard of Billy Vaughn. Today I was given an lp of his-"Theme From A Summer Place and other great themes". Don't have a record player atm, so this video really surprised me well. Thanks 4 the excellent introduction.
This is the first time I've actually heard this in TRUE MONO! All the versions I've heard so far are in FAKE Stereo! Not a true representation of Bill'y greatness! (This includes that "Two-Fer" CCM Put out a year back!) Love,Michael Boyce
I connect oh what fantastically nice childhood recollections with this great Rock'n'Roll classic of Billy Vaughn and his orchestra! My father went to the sea and once brought the 45 RPM Dot Single record from "Sail along silvery moon" with "Raunchy" at the back from Hollywood to Germany. Still today I have the record and hear it over and over again with pleasure on my Hitachi Direct drive Turntable. Many thanks for uploadin' this great classic - 5 stars from Germany!

I love the way the grooves look, with stripes of white in them, it's like art that changes with time, I love that about 78's!!
