Island Hopping. NYC to Key West.




Three scooters. 3,500 miles. 10 states in 12 days. From the Brooklyn Bridge and Washington Monument, to the Smoky Mountains and Everglades, Scooter Adventures puts their scooter wheels to the road on May 10th when they depart New York, NY for Key West, FL. Once they arrive, theyʼll turn around and drive back. Along the way they'll broadcast each moment using video, social networking and photo sharing tools from Twitter and YouTube to Flikr and Facebook.




Their riding skills will be tested as they cover 350 miles per day on scooters no bigger than souped up baby strollers. Thankfully they have wood beaded seat covers and Anti-Monkey Butt Powder (yes, it's really a product) to ease the bottom fatigue. The three riders, Carlos, Jeremy and Eugene are a motley crew of scooter junkies. A photographer, journalist, and law firm marketer, if 350 miles a day isn't enough to incite insanity then their interpersonal antics and wild sense of adventure undoubtedly will.
