argh

Alright yes, I know it doesn't say specifically that the age of the earth is 6000 years. However, it has the lineage of man dating back to the first 7 days of existence. This has been examined and found to date as about 6000 years to 10,000. I didn't mean to misrepresent, and I also think it's silly to use that as a dating method. Just saying that's what people do, and I used to be dumb enough to do it. I should have picked a better point I guess.

Oh, did you mean HEBREW slaves? You originally said Jewish slaves. Yea, that makes more sense, since there was no such word as Jewish back then.

Oh, (and I'm just using your logic here), does that mean that if evolutionists lied about a bunch of things then we should ask, 'why the hell would anyone believe anything else they say?'

PS: A hint (although you didn't really get the last one) : you've got the wrong Pharoah.

You nitpicked a bunch of minor points that I made, but still have not addressed the real issue, and my better points. I'll repeat the ones you've ignored.

2. Problem - Light was created after the sun.
Answer - simply not true, In Gen 1:3 God created light. The other light, including the sun and the moon come in verses 14-18

3. Problem - Animals or man made first
Animals were created on day 5, man of day 6, this is clear from Genesis chapter 1

Here we have 3 examples of 'internet debunking' of the bible. Someone googles 'bible errors' and just copies stuff down without investigating. I'll explain man/animals in the next post.

The first chapter of Gen. is a chron, order of creation. The 2nd chp. goes into more detail. The supposed contradiction comes in 2:19 which says that God created the animals and brought them to Adam.

If you cherry pick verses from some atheist site, it APPEARS to be a contradiction. But if you actually read Gen 1 and 2, you'll see how it's written.

Ch 2 is mainly talking about man. So, when we get to verse 19, the main point, (since the chp. is about man) is that MAN was going to name...

the animals. At this point, the author REMINDS us that God had previously created the animals and now, since this chapter is dealing with man.

A better way to look at verse 19 might have it reading like this:

"If you recall, God created the animals out of dust, and He brought them to man to name them"

If you read chapter 2 in total, you can easily see that it's not meant to be chronological, that was already done in chapter one. Now, Gen 2, the bible goes into more detail.

The bigger issue is this: Your first three DEFINITE proofs that the bible is wrong turned out to be wrong themselves. (And remember, it wasn't ME who picked these three, it was you)

Now, what are the odds that many of the HUNDREDS of supposed bible errors fall under the same category?

Am I saying that there's nothing in the bible that I find hard to reconcile? Not at all. But most 'bible debunkers' on these sites just don't have a clue what they're talking about.

No offense but if you compare the detail of Evolution in specietion, Aboigenisis in basic chemistry to complex self replicating RNA, Cosmology of Big Bang and the quantum physics that describe how this phenomenon works.

No offense but Genesis sadly lacks a lot a detail an all mighty creator should know about the universe if he built it.

Wonder why God always said Stars, and the Sun, leads me to think the god of the bible didn't know they where one in the same.

To the light thing, I didn't actually check before posting. I didn't google it to say that, I just thought I remembered that.

However, I'll only half agree to your point about the animals. Genesis chapter 1 is very clear about the order, However, the text that follows actually turns around and claims the reverse. I've actually seen apologists try to explain why this is, so I know it's in there. I did also see that for myself, so I don't appreciate the copy/paste comment.
