@captaincrunch72 I realize its been a long time since you originally posted but how much of a difference did your +4 advancer make? Where did you get it? How hard was it to install? Thanks
-
this is ZXR!

you'll appreciate the sound i use to have that bike and i had installed a slip on yoshi. great sound.
-
i just put the yosh rs3 on my zzr600 and i love it.. no baffle ..just loud mean growl...really love this can.. yosh + 4 advancer + carb shim or jet kit = rocket

Thanks for the vid matt. I'm on ebay right now with my finger over the buy it now button for the yoshi exhaust. I wanted to hear it one more time before i commited to it...

I think my 06 zzr its an excellent beginner/intermediate bike. The seat is not super agressive on it which means you'll be able to ride longer more comfortably, and still be able to hang with the gixxrs, yammies, and cbrs in the twisties. I'm not a big track guy, but i hear people love these bikes for track bikes. Take that for what its worth...
-
I'm telling you, it's a lot easier lol
-
Haha I actually thought about telling people I had an 02 ZX6R...sounds more aggressive than ZZR.

Just what I was looking for! I have the Silver '06 ZZR (2000-2002 ZX6R). I was looking at the TBR M5, but your video has helped me find a cheaper, just as good sounding alternative.
P.S. Don't you hate when people don't get the whole Re-badging of the ZX6R to the ZZR? I hate explaining it to everyone that asks what I ride, so I usually just say it's a 2002 ZX6R LOL. Peace brother, and thanks for sharing the video!

I could be wrong but i think the ZZR would be louder if u took out the catalyst in the mid pipe. i think it has one
I'm glad you posted this vid as well as the informative comments you left. I'm in the same boat as you. I've been looking at the Yoshi after market for my bike, as well as others. I think I'm going to go with the Yoshi. I have an 08 ZZR600 as well, cept mines the blue one. Only have about 675 miles on it, and I think I'll swap out the exhausts after 1,000 miles.

Cool man, glad you got some benefit from it. I still need to get a sound clip of it moving.
It sounds so awesome at full throttle around 8k+. I've also got some other stuff I've done that I should do a review on (flush mounts, integrated tails, mini rear blinkers, and I hacked the ugly rear fender off)
Thinking next is rear peg LEDS by tripageled.

I'll try to get more clips up this weekend. Revving a little higher and maybe a couple of the bike moving.

nicee can you tell a deffrence on the ride?

it's hard to tell.
i installed it prior to 1000 miles (odometer was at about 800) since i was still in break in period i had to keep the rpms below 6k. i'd say it feels smoother and more responsive.
it's just a great mod. stock exhaust you can barely hear over 50 mph cause all you hear is wind. not so true with this.
i'm now done with break in and the sound up to about 4k is pretty low pitched and it begins to scream louder and louder above 6k.
