  • I just learned this through studying psychology. You waste your energy on indulging in your frustration or lack of patience when you don't keep calm. Its like your mind shifts away from the problem, and onto the anger and self dislike.

  • @tsolox No it doesn't. Both require deductive reasoning. And programming, at many times, requires a deep knowledge of math. La, programming is an application of maths. Just like building or engineering.

  • @tsolox I see what you're saying--but not entirely, because much of what goes into computer programming could be of a math foundation. At least, most CSCI grads have a strong math foundation by the time they graduate. I think it's all dependent on the actual project you're coding for.

  • solving a math problem uses a different mindset than doing computer programming.
