I bought one of these used and had to replace the long saddle and nut. The nut with west african ivory and the saddle with real teddy roosevelt ivory and some fossilized wally bridge pins. The guitar does everything now except get up and walk and talk. I am 56 years old and have never owned a gibson before, just a D 28 and some older guilds, but this guitar is a real sound beast.
@davenumber2 That's true but it's nice to see him play this style on a dirty badass acoustic.Probably more expressive than on a Taylor,Martin,blahh,blahh...................................BLAHH
@ghosterdude if you're familiar with the Martin lingo, yes, for all intents and purposes it is a dreadnought. Gibson calles this body style a "jumbo", and it has a rounder shoulder and slightly wider lower bout compared to a Martin dreadnought (16 inches wide compared to 15 5/8 for a martin)
i met this guy at the NAMM GIBSON booth on sunday at the Anaheim Convention Center!! Great guy!!

Would somebody please tell Robi that these are Gibsons. Why is he playing some classical concerto? Grab a flatpick and get to work!
