  • Cenk is correct here.

He does what is the key of rationality. To put yourself in the position of others. To put ourselves in the position of both sides, to get both sides of the equation. If we refuse to do that then we are refusing rationality, and embracing ignorance.

  • can this guy please run for president. someone needs to think straight in this chaotic world.

  • @RepublicAgent I could agree with what you are saying when you put it that way. But what can I do? Only God will judge. If you think about it all peoples have made the same mistakes, the Israelis are not the only ones. Prophet Muhammad conquered territories that were not his. How must have those people felt when he killed them for their land and because they did not worship Allah? Do not the Palestinians believe in such things? The Jews believe similar things. Both are alike.

  • @GeRzAwN

They did board that Turkish vessel and kill those unarmed Turkish sailors. Some of their soldiers are abusing( to the point of murder?) palestinian and foreign refugees. So yeah, could very well say they do "oppress the foreigner."

Being the chosen does not give one the liberty to neglect virtue. This will not suffice in the eyes of God. If you can't underestimate, you don't understand the teaching.

  • @sataricon111 It sure the hell is. But unlike you I'm on Israel's side. What is your hatred against them? What are their crimes? And don't say war crimes. What have they done wrong? Do they oppress the foreigner? Have they erected idols? Have they became sodomites? If they are free from these sins they have not transgressed God's law so they are free from guilt. Will you condemn the righteous? No, but you are one that loves to oppose God Most High for He chose them and gave them Israel.

  • @GeRzAwN

Yep war is dirty business so when Israel civilians die it's also normal.

  • Collateral damage is normal. What? Do you expect war to be nice and clean? War is tough. Too bad for those innocently killed but their men should not engage in battle against others, because that which they do they will get.

  • Empathy.....try it, it works.

  • Say I have a mortal enemy, and he runs into a crowd. I want to kill him, so I fire my gun into the crowd.

I shoot several people who never lifted a finger against me. Then I say "Oops! Sorry about that! I wasn't aiming at them, I was aiming at this other guy!"

It doesn't matter who I'm aiming at. It doesn't let me off the hook. Firing into a crowd carries with it foreseeable consequences, and by doing so I'm risking innocent people's lives, if not killing them outright.

  • the fight betwine east and west is a kill or be killed war their religon says to kill us all and all we can do is kill them first its not a good thing but its the world we live in and im not saying all muslims think that way but the ones who do must die there is no other way

  • "We in the West"

Slow down their Cenk, what I think you mean is that America has come to accept collateral damage.

Collateral damage is an American term.
