December 5th, 1965 Texas State recieved its first secret social fraternity. That fraternity was Pi Kappa Alpha, also more widely known as PIKE.
For 40 years PIKE was the flagship of Greek domination. Attributes attained from decades of power and success ranged from total Texas State ASG control to owning the largerst fraternity house west of the Mississippi. After one unfortunate incident, PIKE was removed from campus in 2004...
Janurary 2009: The Pi Kappa Alpha International headquarters sends scouts and consultants to re-establish the once all mighty Zeta Theta chapter of PIKE at Texas State. Influencial PIKE alumni of the San Marcos community and high-standing students from across the campus of Texas State were gathered together with one goal... to bring back the BEAST.
