  • Great video. Thanks for checking all that out, Railfanning is a great pass time, even for old folks like me.

  • @SteveD328 Thankss, man. It's no problem. I just had to check this out bcause I did not believe for even a second that his cute little "25 foot" rule applied in this scenario. Plus, it is obvious that SpeakerPolice and his friend were way farther than 25 feet away from the railroad tracks. Thank you for commenting.

  • GRRRRRRRRRR ! That right back off ! ! ! go fine something better to to with your time ! ! ! ! ! ! leave the railfans alone ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! this hole terrorist thing is a big ass joke ! ! ! ! ! ! the asshole government has everyone all scard over this hole terrorist crap ! stand up for your self and don't let these cops that have nothing better to do with there time then to mark railfans as terrorist what a ( JOKE ! ! ! ! ! )

  • @B83024 Amen to that and thank you for commenting.

  • @Railrodder Exactly. It is so stupid. Is this really what our tax money pays for? We pay taxes to help pay police officers that are supposed to protect and serve, yet all they want to do is bother innocent railfans about why they are beside the tracks taking pictures and/or videos? Wow. There are people getting away with murder, theft, facism, violence, and speeding, but us railfans are the number one threat? I just dont get it, man. It pisses me off.

  • @nsrailfann4life91 I agree! This 'post 911' thing has become an excuse to push people around even when they are really doing nothing of any threat to anyone! It gets rediculous when you can't even watch trains without getting harassed by the police and reminded about an organization called 'Homeland Security'!

  • @Eng8492 You got that right.

  • @Railrodder It is very frustrating. Since when did a camera suddenly become a bomb? Makes no sense.

  • This must be very frustrating! So glad we don't have this problem in Ontario Canada! At the same time I still make sure to keep off railway property. Well, 99% of the time anyway. Sometimes you have to cross tracks. Thanks for posting this video!

  • and only respond to the first statement or question they until you have given a truthful answer. In fact, you can choose to remain silent. Finally, always ask them if the conversation is voluntary and if you are being detained, over and over, until they give you an answer.

  • Always remember that the law allows the police to lie and be deceptive in the course of their investigation. For instance, they can say someone saw you doing this or that, even they are totally making it up in hopes you admit to it. Or telling you there is a 25 foot line and that you are trespassing. They try to keep you off balance so that if you say something inconsistent, they can take further action. Best bet is to remain calm and take your time...let anything say fly by through the air....

  • I dislike suspicious police/agents, but I like alcohol, tobacco, and firearms

  • I was still filming as usual. But this time He threw a towel at me, Perfusely blew the Horn, Yelled at me and Called the Cops. I ran when the cops showed and I was never caught. This was Bullshit. Ill send you the Video That I took of Him Northbound to show how peaceful it was. I never put up the southbound video in fear They would find me. I subbed, Favorited, Thumbs up and Commented! :D

  • I was railfanning in my town one day. MY TOWN. I was a whole 200 Feet from my house and we only get 2-3 trains if lucky a day. So back to the story, I was waiting for a local to arrive and I was standing Next to the Ballast rock A.K.A RR property. The crew stopped 15 feet from me and I asked if I was ok. They said yes. So later I moved Down the tracks to a new location where I met up with a friend. When they passed Northbound they had nothing to say so I waited til they came back. South bound,

  • @MrConraal The names of the two lawyers are David Rocah and Walter Aullig. He got these two lawyers from the October 2011 copy of Trains Magazine. I suggest that all railfans pick up this issue if possible. This article basically gives you a "How to" on how to avoid problems and arrest when/if confronted by police or any other enforcement officers.

  • @trainmasta227 point me in the direction of that issue. I would like to know what those two lawyers said -and what i must say. As you maybe aware I live and railfan in DC -the heart of what I now call the lions den. (lions den: a place in witch people are very much suspicious of railfans at all times)

  • @trainmasta227 Very true. Thanks.

  • @nsrailfann4life91 Heres something i got from my friend and neighbor. Hes one of the ADA's for Winchester, VIrginia. He said if anyone tries to bother you mention the Patriot Act and how it states its not illegal to film any type of transportation if its not for comericial sale a.k.a you sell the film. Being that you dont make any money for uploading videos to youtube, its morally reprehensible to be bothered by police even if they have suspicion.

  • @trainmasta227 Yep. Thats the same issue I will be reading to youtube. It will be a "What To Do" video. Thanks for commenting.

  • @nsrailfann4life91 Yeah i was looking at a Trains Magazine. Railfans And 9/11 10 Years Later. It does state railfanning is not a crime and two lawyers tell what to do when confronted

  • @trainmasta227 True, but a majority of cops with nothing better to do, can be real jackwagons. Shouldn't they be on the roadside shooting radar and playing solitaire on their work laptops? Of course, they just want to give railfans a hard time. I will have another video up of me reading an articale about railroad photography and videography that is in next months issue of "Trains Magazine". I am a member of their club and recieve the next month's issue before it's released.

  • They aren't All bad. I've been talked to by Baltimore MTA PD and VRE Officials before. All nice and let me film. For a while I lived next to a NS Officer. He was nice to. CSX guys can be jerks though but still some are nice

  • @kr4449 Same here. They could definitely use a talking to.

  • i hope those cops that started this thing see this
