No. The 8.9" version is already out of production, although you might still find it in the stores. It's been replaced by a larger screen 10" and 11" XP-only models.

Do you reckon it would still be available till November? I'm asking because I can't get this until November.

If I'm not mistaken, the 8.9" model will shortly no longer be available. You can still find it in shops but not for much longer.
There is a Windows XP version of this model available but all the new models (10.1") are Windows XP anyway.
Finally, if you head over to The Acer Guy blog, there is an article on upgrading the Linux version.

Can this be upgraded or ( whatever its called ) to Windows XP or Vista ?
Cause i heard and SAW people using Acer Aspire One with XP or Vista .

hi ive just got a acer exactly like that but i cant get it to go online for me i can do everything else but that i have a wirless onnection that i use for other laptop with no probs. but i cant seem to get notepad to do so any ideas how to do this??? thx
