The pictures that our crew captured at the Kenya Meat Commission ranch in Athi River erases any guarantees that the meat you eat is of good quality. The disturbing exclusive pictures by our camera crew show that the KMC holding ground might as well be a death valley for the many of the animals that are taken there through the current government livestock off-taking program. But it is the conditions under which the animals are kept that is shocking. The dead, the dying and those in the various stages of death are all lumped together. Which raises the fundamental question:Are we safe eating meat?
i am very sad to see this .

You sure sound like those Germans, who, blinded by fading memory and nostalgia, claim that Hitler was a saint.
The Mau forest was invaded in the 80's by Moi to reward his friends. Later, during a famine, he told a crowd that came to beg for food that he was not God.
Are you that young?

Where are animal rights activists. I mean nobody is doing anything about this mess. This is one of the lowest points of the messed up Kenyan Government. If we don't watch out, it will soon be dead bodies of people and not cows. Whats the minister doing about it?About the president? About Lucy? Where is Raila? I mean this a catastrophe. it is not time to debate about MOI and KIBAKI! Something needs to be done period!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kenyaone, before you rush to judge the current government, please understand that this is due to a catastrophe that didn't impact on Moi's era. This is due to global warming which every country in the world is facing.
I don't however doubt that Government should have done more, but it's a continuation of a legacy that was left by our fore fathers and our irresponsibility.

How come all these never happened during Moi's time ? He was bad yes but Kibaki is worse. Surprisingly, the last 3 or so years of Kenyatta are very similar to those of Kibaki (crime, impunity, primitivity etc)
