@badwx well, the 1966 series was actually based off silver age batman, when things were a lot lighter and over the top, so for that era it was pretty faithful to the comics

LOL I love the answers to the Riddlers riddles. This show was amazing.

Everyday, m-f in 1975 after school, chocolate chip cookies & milk waiting 4 me. This was my personal soap opera! LOL

Bale is the best Dark Knigth ever.
But West was the best Bruce Wayne/Batman we ever had

The Batmobile was ahead of its time. There was a phone in the car, an automatic fire-extinguishing system, etc. And this was 40+ years ago! No wonder the Hot Wheels versions of the Batmobile (Elite, Super Elite, and the less expensive versions) sell so well.

I couldn't disagree more woollybully. I think Adam West understood the character perfectly. This is not the comic book Batman. This is a Batman that was completely different from any other incarnation.
Personally, I think Christian Bale is the best Batman ever as far as the "real" Batman. He seems to understand the character better than anyone who has ever donned that cape and cowl. But when it comes to type of Batman that my generation grew up with...Adam West nails it perfectly.
