dragonfitter... the water ypou speak of is the bridgwater canal... Fred is goin thru worsley where the insutrial revolution began with the building of the bridgewater canal. even the first steam powered boats were tested on that canal. the colour is due to iron ore in the banks of the canal... its alot cleaner nowadays, hell of alot cleaner. i remember it being so vividly orange as a kid. but its a magnificent place, lot of history in worsley and no where near recognised for it
