Any chance of you doing one of these same tutorials but for Mac users? I know very few people who actually record on PC these days (at least in Vancouver) and would kill for a tutorial on that. That being said I'm sure I could find plugins that would be close to this same idea, but coming from you might be more accurate to the tones in this video.

Thanks so much man. I applied these techniques to my own rig (with a real amp, pedals etc.) for recording and it sounds HUGE in the mix. With a few tweaks of my own needed of course... Anywho, cheers man I really appreciate this.

This tone is fucking beast. I love the way it sounds, its perfect. It uses more processing power than anything I've ever seen though. If you load up 4 tracks of this tone playing simultaneously your computer might blow up lol

@AnimalRepellent You are right about the Poulin simulator, though I figured this was better left to the viewer as my computer suffered a crash some days prior and couldn't handle much more than that haha!
and how do i redord with this fx chain?

@TwentyfourFrets You load this as FX(effects) on a recording track in your DAW(Reaper, Logic, ProTools etc..)
I might do a recording tutorial later on, this might be helpful to tie the loose ends together from this one haha!

@Thrashman1990 i did this but how do i have to record this? i mean like unprocessed guitar sound etc. you know what i mean? otherwise you have awesome videos!

@TwentyfourFrets It will record itself as an unprocessed track - but as long as you have the effects enabled it will sound like it should.

I enjoyed this video for its conedic quality. I'm new to the world of the "djent." I'm wondering if you might put a video together about getting a nice djenty tone for playing live. I'm currently using a Peavey Vypyr tube 120 and I'm getting an Agile 727 7 string soon. Thanks a bunch.

@DirtyMustache79 I could! The basics are the same though, but since "live" means LOUD, some tweaks might have to be done and this is more personal taste rather than a 'general rule of thumb' so to speak.
I will investigate into the possibilities of doing this further!
