Now all the music from when the mighty 101 KLOL was a rocker is played on the Eagle and Dean and Rog kicks ass in the morning with their hilarious birthday pranks. I feel like I am listening to the old radio Gawds sometimes and the music from that time in my life to go with it.

I can probably find a couple of those third world countries on a map but I don't give a shit about them. @specialks1953 nice trolling. MEGA 101.1 has a huge market, along with 104.9 -- modern music in spanish. "mexico music" hardly; they have songs in both english and spanish, from a variety of countries (mexico along with GASP, the u.s., colombia, spain, puerto rico, dominican republic, etc.) not that you'd have a good grasp on geography or anything.

Do people not understand the way radio works? KLOL is still on the air, it never went anywhere. Clear Channel fired everyone and changed its format. Basically they quit playing rock and started playing spanish hits because they thought theyre was a bigger audience for it and that means more advertising dollars to line their pockets with.

Those were the days and THAT was the radio station. It is a shame Clear Channel ruined the station. Now is is mexico music for the illegals. There may be some legals that listen to that crap but that is not the point.

Coppola couldn't begin to direct the things that went on at 101 back in its heyday.....and we just lost Mark Stevens of Steven & Pruett tonight. What a great station it was.
