i did a zip line in the white mountains recently in NH, and we didn't wear gloves. What was the reason for holding on to the lines? To slow yourself down a bit so you didn't miss the landing?

I did the same one in June. They made me ride with someone because they didn't think I'd make it across the mile one. I really enjoyed this video though!! It was an awesome experience and I liked reliving it. lol ;)
