  • Top, did stiff little fingers write this or cover it?

  • They covered it - it was written by Goldberg and Dammers of the Specials

  • My favourite song by the Specials what a Julius Cesar!

  • heh heh

Don't batter yourself too much mate, once you probably found it 'hard' to walk, now you can prob' bounce around like a Gazelle!

    Perseverance is the ONLY way.

Try sliding up from the D# to the E without actually sounding that first E with your strumming hand, but still 'staccato' the chord by lifting your fretting hand just enough to stop the chord sustaining any longer than you find fitting, similar to the way you'd avoid common feedback.

    Keep trying, best of luck.

  • its hard

  • Whoops. Just re-listened to it.

    Sounds like G major/D major/C major/D major/E minor/C major/D major for the verses.

I haven't tried it out though, so have a play about with the song.

  • thanks for the support the chords i found are:

    intro: D C B A G D C D D# E E C D

    verse: G D C D D# E E C D

    Chorus: G D C D.

  • You're not shit.

    Apply yourself!

The bare bones of it sound like E minor/C major/D major for the verses,

    G major/D major/C major/D major for the chorus.

You'll have to work out the transitional 'links' yourself as i haven't got time to type 'em out now.

    Get to work!

That was a fucking storming rood bwai set (but the dancefloor was like a skating rink).

I was singing along with what i still agree with -

    IT DOESN'T MAKE IT ALRIGHT!

aaaaah-one of my junior school anthems!

  • i cant learn this on guitar im shit

  • played this at southport first time i heard it made me feel wierd in a good way loved it top weekender

  • ONE TWO!
