Ha ha here at lax we only get 5 man crew to offload and load up a 777 i never seen 3 people wasting time with the bulkcar
-
LMAO, three guys to pack a cart. Yeah okay. Yo, if you followed this video, our 320 turn times would have to be 2 hours. LMFAO
-
The circle of safety is also called the Buffer Zone. Great Vid!!!

I would like to invite all airport personnel to "My Airport Operations" a free website for airport personnel.
-
@bikrtc it is crystal clear, I agree with you, but i put it to ya once you've damaged an aircraft you will drive aroun aircraft very carefully. I spent 15 years in the airline industry and lots of it doing breakdowns on aircraft equipment
-
@ricturtle if you read my comment correctly you'd i was pointing out that the speed within the safety diamond of an aircraft should be no more than the speed at which the average person walks. that a little more clear for ya?
-
@bikrtc Well have you had the privelige of damaging an aircraft. once you have .....you will drive at 5kph around airplanes
-
the driver of a belt or loader should have his eyes on the proximity of the aircraft door to his equipment...you don't need someone diverting attention with waving arms and hands. The equipement operator has the best view of what is happening. If he can't see, he doesn't know what he is doing.
Managements idea of "safety"
If he is having issues seeing because of bad visablity,( Rain/snow) then I am okay with a guideman.
