@ChuckJPC I know what you mean. I personally LOVE train travel, but I save up so I can afford at least a Sleeper to avoid all that you mentioned above......one day I hope to afford my very own Deluxe Bedroom - THAT would be the way I would announce that I arrived hehehehe

I could not bring myself to say that this train was full of those who could not fly because of size, cost, or fear. It was like Don Juan in Hell with a myriad of scolding old black women, scowling indians, loud cowboys, and compulsive talkers who were either salesmen or recovering alcoholics but in all cases way too religious as well as a staff treating the passengers like kindergarteners which upon reflection did seem appropriate.
