Watching this great video to write a response as a part of my Packaging class at ISU. Thanks Dr. Schafer for giving me the opportunity to know about Mr. Dixon videos.

FYI- My professor at ISU is having us write a response paper about your video..I found it interesting. Our professor divided us in to two groups of agree or disagree. Thankfully I am on the agreeing side. I am not sure I could have written a very honest paper argueing the opposing view point.

this vid is obsolete, hemp (more o2,lots of uses), jute( not my fav but biodegradable and eco friendly like the others), my fav: bamboo ( fast growing, super obsorbant and soft) is far better

Paper was first made from grass and weeds, and I think the risk of deforestation demands us to rethink how we produce but also how we use paper. Personally, I'm a supporter of hemp production.
this clown is just an advocate for the paper industry. paper is not annually renewable. Anyone can spin anything and make it sound good.

Well much more renewable than plastic. And so long as a forest is managed in a renewable way, and a huge % is recycled then paper use can become greener. But of course, all resources should be used carefully and responsibly.

Please do comment and rank this video - it really helps other people find what is helpful. With 11 million users of my pages it can take a little while for me to catch up but I do try to reply to most things. Patrick Dixon
