Here's a mod to make your JX-3p sound even better:
Solder wires from the POLY OUT test point and the GND test point next to it.
They're found on the upper left part of the main board, surrounded by small yellow plastic.
Solder the POLY OUT wire to a 1/4 inch audio jack positive terminal. Wire the GND to the negative terminal of the audio jack. Mount the jack somewhere.
It bypasses the chorus unit, volume, and the useless highpass filter. You get less hiss, more bass and treble response.
@123allvideos What do you mean? Any EMS synth sounds completely different from a JX-3P and luckily so. They both have their pro-s and con-s.
