  • If you like fireworks, you'll love our site !

  • 32 days untill bonfirenight 2011

  • @stupidintellect90 Ps, I was in one square where they were burning down one of these structures - which was about 60ft tall. It gets very hot. So people in the apartments above opened their windows and poured bucket after bucket of water into the crowds below.

  • @stupidintellect90 The daytime pyrotechnics are about noise. They`re not really meant to be pretty. But the nightime fireworks are also very loud. Far louder than anything we have here. Both day and night fireworks takes place every day for about 2 weeks each year. Each neighbourhood in the city ( c. 300 of them ) build a massive structure - often representing politicians etc ( at an average cost of £75 000 ) and burn them down on the last night of the festival.Over £20 million worth of art burn

  • @valarmanwe thanks, I can imagine them being extremely loud. But being in daylight means you can't see them well, what's the difference between them and normal fireworks?

  • @stupidintellect90 You can also get a brief glimpse of the night time affair through YT : "Las Fallas, Part 1". Icon 9 down. When I was last there I saw even young healthy kids being taken away in Ambulances. Not because of burn injuries, but because of sound injuries. But if one is careful, it is a most unbelievable place to be. I`ve been to many parts of the world, and seen many things, but none beat Las Fallas.

  • @stupidintellect90 Daytime pyrotechnics ? Type into YT "Ultima Mascleta." Click on Icon no. 2 down, and watch preferably with headphones on and vol. Max. I`ve seen it in real life, and it`s ear bursting ! They also do night time fireworks; it`s a riot.

  • thats not half of it they put them in your letter box ere

  • @Lollypop1910 what are chav's going to do

  • I've heard fireworks go off in broad daylight, never seen them but heard...I mean what's going on there? And its true, around Nov/Dec time fireworks go off anytime. I remember before when there used to be certain dates you'd expect fireworks but now it's just all the time.
