Etrian Odyssey III - Optional Boss - Alraune

Stats:

22000 HP

0% Ice, Volt

150% Fire

100% Cut, Stab, Bash

1% Instant Death, Petrify

10% All Status Effects

30% Head, Arm, and Leg Bind


Alraune is a harder boss than Kraken was. It uses a powerful Tentacle Beat to hit random party members (But I actually want it to use this attack, since, thanks to Otori, it will always hit my Yggdroid, who has 40% evasion, a really high defense, a 18% chance of nullifying a hit, and uses Wind Tactic to further boost Evasion).

Pollen is a far more troublesome move, inflicting random status effects to the party, including Petrify. I use Prevent Order to avoid having the monk crippled.

It can also use Head Binds, but my Monk has an accesory to prevent that.

The "Kiss" is really annoying when Otori is not up, and it always seems to hit my Monk. At least I managed to get back on my feet after that incident.

@abcgumz There's a hidden area in the North part of the Southeast room on Floor 17 (the one with the Hunter and the no-radar tiles). Look for a passage along the North wall.

According to an FAQ on YouTube, this boss isn't available during the True Ending route. Is this correct?
