These commentators are (were?) idiots. I'm pretty sure Juden was skilled enough not to run into the friggin' backboard all on his own... the guy pushed him in the small of the back and caused him to hit it. The only ppl who couldn't see that are nmsu fans.

the guys are saying it wasnt pattersons fault but it was. he was going for the ball and ran smith into the backboard. im pretty sure smith didnt just run into the backboard on his own. sounds to me like pro nmsu commentators... but anyways old school utep is always fun haha

Unfortunate self-ownage. The backboard fouled Juden Smith rather than the New Mexico State Aggie that was pursuing him. Ouch! Good thing he was able to get up and play some more.
