  • Thanks for posting this!! I had only seen this one time when it was new and never saw it again. I had started to think that I had only imagined I had seen it. Now I know I am not totally crazy.

  • When I 1st saw that Mi Cuca Racha, I thought "where the hell is there one of those?", but then I saw the Energizer Bunny and knew that it was a fake. I'm surprised there isn't a restaurant named Cuca Rancha, then again I doubt anyone would want to name a restaurant after a cockroach.

Anyway, the Motor City Madman was cool in this commercial.

  • That advertisement for cheap Mexican food seemed to good to be true.

  • meat, beans and cheese extra.

  • @TeamEdward1976 Yeah, really! Those hoping that the commercial had been authentic shouldn't have felt too bad, as at those prices, the restaurant would have driven itself out of business within a couple weeks.

Besides, with a name like "Mi Cucha Racha", one can't help but wonder what's actually inside those burritos.

  • I remember the Lyle Alzedo Pigskins ad. That was the first ad where I wanted to try what was "offered" before the punchline. If I had seen this when it was first run, I would've been going "Where is one of these places?" BTW Fuck you, Ted Nugent!

  • this is amazing... i love the way the voiceover says 29 cents

  • @wtcvidman I thought it was real when i first saw it too. I think I saw it during Home Improvement. I'm thinking "I've never seen one of these places." I waited for a location, and got the bunny. It was kind of a Rick Roll for the 90's.

  • In '93 I was at my bud's place, we're both bored watchin' the tube. Gonzo comes on doing a commercial for "Burrito Barn", advertising 29-cent burritos, we were both psyched, ready to hit the street with the IROC for some cheap Mex food...and then that fuckin' bunny goes across. PUNK'D! We both just died then and there...

  • 29 cents for all that?LOL!

  • @thunderstruck665 LOL!I'm surprised he did'nt either.

  • 0:22 - ...Still going. Nothing outlasts the Energizer battery. It keeps going and going...
