EVE Online: Goodbye $100M ISK!

I was having email retrieval issues (cache) in game when I received an email from someone asking me if I had an interest in their corp. I couldn't respond because of the email issue so when I logged on the next time, someone sent me a chat request - and ironically knew how to fix the problem I was having.

Anyway, we arranged to meet on TeamSpeak the next day because it was really late my time and I had to reinstall it. I was on but we must have missed each other. After a couple of days, I felt bad about having the money so...I sent it back.

Hopefully, I'll be able to check out their space and take my first trip to nullsec.

And yes, every time I try to type nullsec, I almost ALWAYS type it nullsex. :( :( :(

@boonmcbwen When you are a new player with limited skills, it is hard to spend a 1M ISK - and be able to use what you bought. :)

I would have told them "Look at my character starting date. I won't survive two days in null but thanks for the ISK." and left it at that. If they are careless enough to give away 100 mil to random people then they don't need it back and you shouldn't feel guilty about having it :P

@JackA117 or we've been ratting in null for years making hundreds of mil an hour long before incursions came out...or we have full market hubs selling several billion worth of assets a day.. oh you mean all you can do is run incursions? Well, we all start somewhere - good luck with that though.

For some 100mil isk is a lot. For others it is nothing. Try to see past that and se what this video is really about.

It has mothing to do with the amount of the isk. It is about his/her decision. The decision to be a non eve caracteristique person. He/she showed us that money is not really important, but his/her image in game is worth much more than 100mil isk.

Giving back the money he/she left a very important and big door open in his/her way to that null corp if he/she decides to join it la

Somehow people think that because you can be mean in EvE you HAVE to. They are wrong, and mutual corp trust is the greatest thing you can achieve.
