Gound hogs are so cute to watch eating. We have a crabapple tree on the hill and they stand on their back legs holds the apple with front paws? eats all around the apple then tosses the core and grabs another one. Too cute.

Ottawa seems like a wonderful city, Nancy. I have never seen a ground hog get so up close and personal before.

What a sweet little pudgy butt groundhog ! Too cute. Doint know that its good for them to be so "people" friendly as they could come to harm with the wrong two-leggeds. Hope not.

It's a public park, so as all of them in Ottawa, the animals are less scared of people and the people are kind to them.
