but another difference is that they sound like shit. the trans am sounds 100 times better than any kind of jap car with an exhaust.

@Cash2112 The LM1 is just straight pipe from the cat-back. the LM 2 is the glasspack and the powerflow is the muffler.

@purpleWS6ls1 That just cops being ass holes, the only way you will get in trouble is if your exhaust doesnt pass your emission control... like where I live I cant have LT headers cause it wont pass smog but any catback is 50 state legal.

@MedinaSteven20 depends what you want? Loud and aggressive or moderately loud and moderately aggressive. I love loud and aggressive. LM is what I have on all my vehicles (02 WS6, 05 300C) My friend has a 2010 Camaro SS with SLP LM Axle-back and it sounds amazing. Let me ask you what kind of car do you have?

I have a 1998 Trans Am, all stock right now but I'm trying to figure out if I should get SLP Loudmouth or Borla. What was done to your TA when you made this video besides the exhaust?

It had nothing done to it except for the SLP lid...that's it. All cars will sound different. Borla is an awesome exhaust, but about double the price of the loudmouth. It all depends if you want a refined exhaust note, or a LOUD exhaust.

Yea Borla sounds amazing but some videos of the SLP Loudmouth like yours sound pretty amazing as well. Loudmouth is still pretty damn loud and has a nice idle sound I assume right?
