Wyatt from GradLife, one of my proudest paintings yet. Very happy with it. First time doing a painting fully in photoshop, and I think I'm going to stick with it and ditch SAI.

Hey, I'm trying to get good at photoshop (I'm more of a signature maker, pretty bad at it) but trying to get use to it and all, and wanting to try do this, I was wondering if you could give me tips/hints or where I should start/what to get, to get into this. I'm really bad at drawing XD Like really bad, but interested in computer art and all that sort of stuff, so yeah few tips and or on what tablet I should get, thanks in advance. @l337firefly If you must have a tablet, I would recommend getting something very cheap to try out first. The only difference between cheap and high quality in the tablet industry is pressure levels and response times. You can draw as well with a $15 used tablet off ebay, as the two $400 tablets I'm using. But tablets don't make drawing easier, unless you get a visual display tablet. It makes it harder because of the coordination. If you're no good with a pencil, you'll likely be worse w/ tablet

@l337firefly At least that's the case for me. I'm a much better pencil artist, but drawing on the computer is less messy and easier tools wise. But I really suck at precision with a tablet and I'm still learning with mine. It's not an easy tool to use. Other than that, I just use my tablet, Photoshop, and Paint Tool SAI, which is a korean alternative to Photoshop, more... brushy. lol.
