cyriocosmus bertae feeding on bean weevils - for an idea of size the weevils are 3mm or so long.

i don't usually like the feeding behaviour videos posted online - i get the feeling there's probably a few too many Kiss and tit-wank posters on the walls of those that do but i could find little on these lovely dwarf tarantulas online so here it is anyway - it may be of interest. (i have no posters)

This spider has grown from a tiny spiderling bought from The Spider Shop. These are the most visible of the 4 dwarf tarantula (cyriocosmus) species i have - the others i only know well by their front legs and occasional one second appearances whereas these are out and about regularly. all these dwarfs can be housed in very small containers, are straight forward to keep and fast growing - and they all are very very pretty.
