Beep. Beep. Beep. I heard my alarm clock burst through my ears, waking me up from my deep sleep. I turned to where my alarm clock was and smashed it with all my might. I got up lazily, but surely, and hopped out of my bed. I turned to see what time it was, 7:05 a.m. it read. I turned to my doorway and headed for the bathroom. Once I was done, I headed downstairs for breakfast. I walked to the, already set, table and slumped down into my chair.

"Good morning." I heard my mom say as I sat down.

"Yeah, morning." I said as I took a bite of my eggs.

"Whats wrong honey?" my mom says taking a sip of her coffee.

My mom was always concerned about my well-being. I mean, I dont blame her. I am her only child that still lives with her. Plus, shes both my mom and dad. See, my dad passed away when I was only two and since then, shes been there for me.

"Nothing mom, just tired I guess." I say taking a drink from my orange juice.

"Okay then. So, what are you going to do tonight?" my mom asks with a smile.
"I dont know. I was thinking of staying here for the night, you know?" I said taking my last bite of bacon.

"Sweetie are you sure? I mean, starlight is good for us. You do know that right?" my mom said taking a bite of her eggs.

"Yeah mom I know that, its just that, well, I dont want to run into the werewolves. Especially since it December." I said taking my last drink of orange juice.

"Sweetie, did you run into them last time?" my mom asked with a stern look on her face.

"Well. . . ." I said looking in another direction.

"Demetria Devonne Lovato!!!!", she yelled, "YOURE SOOO LUCKY THAT I HAVENT PUNISHED YOU YET!!!" she screamed with her veins popping out.

"I'm sorry mom, but it was a small one, a baby, ok?" I said standing up, helping my mom try to calm down.

"Fine, I'll let it slide, THIS ONCE ok?!?!" she said a bit calmed tone now.

"Yay!!! Thank you sooo much mommy!" I said hugging her.

We both started laughing. We were laughing until there was a knock at the door.

"Can you get that honey? I need to clean up this table." she said with pleading eyes.

I smiled. "Sure mommy."
I went and answered the door.

"What are you doing here?!?!" I shrieked . . .
