Here's clip about one of my favorite shapes, the Koch Snowflake. It is very easy to make and has some really interesting properties. It's also a fractal shape.

  • I built my Koch Snowflake Fractal Antenna and posted up on YouTube. Works ok.

  • @ufoengines Very cool.

  • Do you think that the Kock Snowflake would be a good design for a fractal antenna?

Seems that you would have to use only one lenght of wire to make one, like the old uhf loop antenna.

  • @ufoengines I don't know a lot about antenna design. However, I think some cell phones use fractal antennae. I recall seeing a picture of a a rectangular one. They are supposed to be sensitive to different wavelengths.

  • Thank you so much! This really helped me with the pre-cal quiz that I'm studying for!

  • @theconnister Super. I hope you ace it!
