holy fuckin shit fuck. i use anthrocite and it's a pain in the balls to light. i'm a blacksmith, knifesmith, and swordsmith among many other crafts. i could really use some of that coal around here though. not one for damascus yet myself but for that i'll just buy more anthrocite. thanks for the tip now i just have to find a place to buy breton coal any recommendations?

@roglet123 I used to have one propane forge that took a while to ignite and when it did it blew off your eyelashes! and no paper alone is the best thing but it must be waded tightly and a fair amount of it....

@cougarman07470 it works on most coal as long as it's pea coal sized if there are bigger spaces between the coal like a screened coal you may need to add some charcoal or bits of wood
