@amcheli Yes, the word 'sleep' is both a noun and a verb, as are plenty of others. However, we're talking about the word 'passport', which is only a noun. He defined it as a verb.

@Meanman332 Hi there! ok what about if I say: I am going to SLEEP. here SLEEP is a verb, ok but when I say I had some SLEEP then it's a noun here. open for corrections.

@WindowsIP I said there are many words in english that are originated from arabic, there are over 8,000 words, like Home, House, talk, walk, arsenal, alchemy, cipher, gazel, candy, Hospital and democracy etc....We should not ignore that over 8,000 and some linguists say around 10,000 words are from Arab/Persian/Indian origins but came into english via Arabs...if you want to ignore this fact then you should stop learning english or at least don't learn the arabic ones....seems fair to me.

what about if we say: Port means :Location/place so transport would mean change location, export: out of 9location), import, in/into (location), passport, to pass a place.. however I know that portable means carry-able in other words mobile, couldn't it also mean place-able in other words can have more than one place/lacation. The french verb porter means to carry, couldn't it also mean to place or displace. Port=Carry Port=Place or Port=Displace, I think they all fit. Plz reply, THANX 4 THE VID
