San Francisco State Chamber Singers, under the direction of Dr. Joshua Habermann, sing Son de la Loma, music by Miguel Matamoros and arranged by Conrado Monier, at St Boniface Church in Anaheim on Feb 26, 2008.
Son de la Loma is a popular tune in Cuba. Translation:
Mama, I want to know where these singers are from,
For I find them charming and I want to meet them,
With their facinating songs that I want to learn. Ay, tell me Mama!
Where could they be from? From Havana? From Santiago, sovereign land?
They are from the hill, and they sing out in the open.
You'll see, yes, you'll see. Yes sir!
@singerxxyuuki well, when you say that it "didn't really have that spanish feel", i assume that you think it's music from spain.
