JDRF Fund A Cure

The Fund A Cure video is a powerful component of JDRF Chapter Galas nationwide. The video is typically accompanied by a personal testimony from a local parent or child with type 1 diabetes and followed by an auction of passion to "fund a cure" in which guests raise their bid cards to make a direct contribution to research. All of the proceeds from the auction go to JDRF to fund research to cure type 1 diabetes and its complications.

JDRF is a money sucking organization that has no interest in finding a cure. What they have great interest in is taking billions of dollars on donations and paying their employees, sustaining profit and growth and funding far fetched alternative treatments that hardly even help diabetics let alone find a cure. A cure = loss of profit, if there wasn't juvenile diabetes than why would there need to be a JDRF? or why would pharmaceutical companies need to make insulin and test strips?
