This is in my opinion the first punk song. So many protest songs of that time had to conceal their meanings with metaphors, this is straight to the fucking point. It gives me chills every time I hear it.

Actually....Bruce has had Ernest Boom Carter,Mad Dog Vini Lopez.....who is the drummer on Born To Run...and the Mighty Max Weinberg.....in the E Street Band.Also Max's son has sat in with Bruce a few times.......If you are going to comment...Get your facts straight.

@naughtmoses Max Weinberg is not the original member of the E Street band there was someone else before him vini lopez or something like that, max joined during the born to run album
