A dance I choreographed for a class in a show at Samford University called Momentum this spring. Sorry the filming isn't the best quality!

Dancers:
Erica Carr (hiphop)
Laura Drury (ballet)
Megan Jackson (hiphop)
Lydia Myers (ballet)
Hannah Seymour (hiphop)
Abby Welbourn (ballet)

  • Like a role reversal would have been SICK, where the ballet dances BREAK IT DOWN, and then the hip hop dancers BUILD IT UP... think that would have been sick... all the same, the choreography as a whole was strong enough.

  • Rather than the same old "your ways are outdated, let me show you how it's done" sort of thing, I was expecting more of an infusion where the ballet was applied to a classical genre turned contemporary. Yes Hip hop dancing is awesome, but so is ballet, and I felt this more or less poopoos ballet.

  • the coreo maybe good but didn t match with th music.sorry

  • @caytonkth yea. the dancers completely destroyed the choreos work.

  • not bad choreo... but i tink those dancers dun interact with the music enuf... ther is no soul in d dance somehow~

  • cool shit@@@!!

  • thats crazy awesome.

  • This is something like Step Up balet vs. hiphop battle? cool

  • the dancers are such weak, not talented enough, but the music was awesome - Nuttin but stringz thunder

  • Good job ..

Would have loved to see more action though

But that's amazing :) Loved the choreography :)
