Pyrenees Hike GR10 & GR11

Phil Ging and Kurt Smith hike for 10 days on the GR10 in France and the GR11 in Spain in 2008. This is the 15th annual long distance hike they have completed since they met in 1993.

Hi,

We started and finished at a point just north of the Portalet Pass on the French side - route 0934 - where the path from the Pombie Hut crosses the road to the Ref. Larribet.

We carried full camping gear and bivvied out each night, but used the following huts for food at the end of each day.

Portalet to Larribet, Wallon, Baysellance, Gavarnie, Goritz, Bujaruelo, Bachimana, Respomuso, Portalet.

We crossed from Gavarnie to Goritz via the Breche de Roland. It was a fantastic trip.
